Thinking the flu has hit Cozart with two days off. Heard Leake also had it so might be Bronson tomorrow in the final game

Fay said Cairo and Negron was the only bench last night....no one else even in the dugout.

Votto said he had it but not like the others vomiting and needing IV's.

Cozart, Leake, Mesoraco, Stubbs....not sure of the others.

Not joking.....this could honestly set Stubbs back a bit, cannot be good for recovering side muscles.

The Rangers had this go roarin through the clubhouse. Derek Holland has been out for a while and has lost 15 pounds....several other very sick. Nelson Cruz was sent home due to looking "green"

If we can somehow win this game we'd have a great chance to sweep these guys. Lecure and Simon need to be ready to pitch extended innings today

Might need those two to share a start if the flu sticks around.

Sorry but this is poor mag't by Walt. Put Stubbs on the DL, retro to whenever as he probably is not going to be back till next week. Drop Costanzo from the 40, put Gaithright on and call him up.

Yeah....if Stubbs is sick and still hasn't really done any baseball activities...DL him retro and call up Joey.

I completely agree...especially if Stubbs has the flu!

But even if he doesn't this should be done.

Are the Reds still in contention? I can't really tell from watching Jocketty.....

OTOH, maybe Walt is just finishing the details on a slobberknocker acquisition (or two), and doesn't want to get Joey's hopes up only to dash them....

No BP for Stubbs and they are not considering the DL as an option.

Well of course there not...what a stupid idea, I mean just because he can't contribute for what now like a week, and may be out till early next week...why waste the time and effort to fill out the paperwork call up another player adn such JUST to be able to have a full roster of players....What was I thinking...

Prolly wants Stubbs to feel like he's a man and this little muscle injury isn't "owning" him
