I guess it is going to be Cairo getting the last spot over Mesoraco. Makes absolutely no sense to me...but...wait for it....it is what it is.

Good to see Ludwick back in the lineup.

Another funky lineup as Cueto goes for number 20. I think with a milestone like that up for grabs that Cueto is 'owed' the best lineup possible behind him. Who knows if he will ever get another crack at a 20-win season.

Good luck, Johnny C.

The over/under on this one is 4.5

I'd rather watch Phipps and Didi.

Valdez, Cairo, Stubbs all in one lineup....with Phillips and Frazier cold.

Reds win 5-0

I am kinda slow. Frazier in right field. Now THAT is how you split the lefties. One in the lineup and one on the bench.

Ironman92 09-30-2012 11:19 AM

Bruce will be in RF every inning of the playoffs....putting Frazier out there for a trial would be a waste, but if he's just giving Bruce a day off....well I still rather watch Phipps.

And who was it telling my my Jay Bruce HR/RBI stats would get blown by? I need to do some research.

Yesterday I predicted that Valdez would get two hits. He got one yesterday, he'll get one today ;)

Field is wet so Ludwick has been scratched. New lineup...

Phillips 2B
Valdez SS
Votto 1B
Frazier RF
Heisey LF
Cairo 3B
Stubbs CF
Hanigan C
Cueto P

Ironman92 09-30-2012 11:34 AM

I can't find it but I predicted on a prediction thread back in April that Bruce would go 34 or 35 HR and 101 or 102 RBI....can't remember.

Excellent decision recovering from a groin strain.....I remember Larkin always re-injuring his on slick conditions.

I agree. No reason to risk a re-injury.

I know no one on this team is hitting at all, but I agree Cueto deserves the best lineup behind him! He needs to pitch a shutout and hope they can score a run.

Ironman92 09-30-2012 12:19 PM

I'm guaranteeing 5+ runs....just because baseball is completely unpredictable.

Looks like it's coming down pretty hard. Are they assuming it's going to blow over quickly?

And there's Valdez's second hit! Granted it took him 2 games, but still.
