Can we give up the homefield advantage?
Seriously.
It's like we decided we HAVE to mash the ball and hit it 500 feet because it's GABP. Let's go back to AT&T. |
Re: Can we give up the homefield advantage?
I agree that playing in AT&T helped us to concentrate on going for base hits instead of homers. I think the boys will revert to that mindset tomorrow, even at GABP.

Re: Can we give up the homefield advantage?
After watching the first 2 games at SF and attending game 3, I'm not sure there is such a thing as home field advantage....especially in baseball. The crowd at game 3 was raucous, exciting, and pumped! I couldn't see that it helped, especially the offense. These players (on both teams) are so riveted to their game, I don't think it affects them much. I know they (the players) say it helps, but I really don't see it in their performances, with the exception being Bailey's effort.
