How are we supposed to move on from here?

I'm soaking it in. I'm trying to lose this numb feeling I'm experiencing.

I'm trying to put a positive spin on this, but I just can't make myself do it.

Wait for another year. Follow each out of the 162 game season, only for further disappointment? What is this team? What is this organization?

Do you need to see a major shakeup? Do we keep things the same.

This will take quite a bit to get over

1. Replace Stubbs
2. Get a better bench with Ciaro and Valdez who have constantly been in the interstate
3. Get a better hitting coach (long overdue IMO)
4. Get a catcher that can actually hit with power.

just the shortlist

No way you get rid of Hanigan...he is waaay too important to our pitching staff.

No, don't get rid of hannigan. But have a catcher that can hit with some pop (20+ home runs a year) and be an actual threat in the lineup.

they dont need a major shakeup. They just need to make a definitive decision on Chapman's future and stick w/ it.

Get a CF.

They might be able to play around w/ a trade for a CF, especially if Chap is a starter. W/ Cingrani, Leake, and Chap we would have 7 potential starters w/ 5 spots.

If chap remains a closer, that may not be the best idea. We were really fortunate to not run into any injuries w/ the starters.

And the manager will be addressed obviously.

Decisions on Madson, Broxton, Rolen, Ludwick will be addressed.

Stubbs I wouldnt mind on the team but he has to be batting 8th, coming off the bench and starting <30 games.

Big offseason w/ lots of action but dont do anything crazy like trade Bruce or something.

Possible contract revisions for Bailey.

1. Find at least one CLUTCH hitter
2. Get rid of Dusty

I agree with you 100% on 1-3. #4, I'm not so sure. Hanigan is vital to the pitching staff, and I really want to see what Mez turns in to. One partial season wasn't enough, in my opinion.

You guys have a good team. If Queto didn't get hurt, you guys might have got passed us. Don't blame Dusty.

I'm really not trying to be rude here, first of all, if you're gonna jump on here and comment learn to spell his name correctly. It's my guess most on here have a good idea the Reds are good...

I like Hanny...no way do I want him gone. It's not like he's in the 4, 5, or 6 hole. He batted 8th most of the year. Having said that, it would be nice if he popped 10 - 15 out a year...but not enough right now to want him gone.
