Should the Reds go after Melky Cabrera?
In 8 years of playing
he's a career: .284 Batting AVG .338 OBP 84 SB I know there is concerns of he will perform post PED's. But one can point to Braun. He took PED's in 2011..well, allegedly, and in 2012 he's been the same monster he's ever been. He's got speed, some pop, plays solid defense, and I'm sure his price tag will be affordable enough because of his PED incident. Should the reds take a waiver? Is there a chance Melkey is the same Melky regardless of the PED's? Because he would be quite a steal during this year's free agent market. |

Sure why not. Even in his Yankee years when there was no suspition hes better than our current CF.

The last thing the clubhouse needs is a juicer, or someone with such associations.
That's my opinion. |
Re: Should the Reds go after Melky Cabrera?
I voted yes since he may take a one year deal on the cheap to come to a hitters park and try to rebuild his image.

Would love to have him. Though Stubbs has been quite the delight the past 500 games.
