Billy Hamilton hurt in AFL Championship Game

Billy Hamilton crashed into the right centerfield wall in the bottom of the 8th and stayed down on the ground for several minutes after the play. He had to have help to get off the field. He hit the wall pretty hard with his lower back.

Uh, I think Eric Davis needs to get in the kid's ear now, before it's too late.

Respect the wall and what it can do to your career.

The announcers said he had a lower back injury. Back injuries can be big problems. Lets
hope not.

Back spasms. He was on the field for the winning celebration. Good sign.

I read "shoulder injury" on Twitter. Anyone know for sure?

I saw him jump into the wall. He spent several minutes on the ground before he was helped off the field. He hit his back pretty hard on the wall. When he was being helped off the field it looked like he was having trouble walking. At the end of the game he was out congratulating teammates. He looked fine then. It was pretty scarey. I know alot of us Red's fans want to see him make the team out spring training so we'll have a good lead off hitter.
