This is the first year Pelland has been treated exclusively as a starter - expected to go at least 5 innings - which he has been successful at (for the most part). His hits/9 innings and K rate are not good, but he has power stuff. I have not seen him pitch for the last two years, but he was a really raw arm when I saw him, so he must have improved to get to AA.
