Remember when the Reds sold an 8-2 Denny Neagle off at the All Star Break in 2000 in a trade that was supposed to set the Reds up for future success??? That was six years ago. How much success have the Reds had the past 6 years? You don't pick the year, the year picks you. If you can get a guy you can actually keep beyond this year, I'm all for trading but that lists excludes the following three minor league prospects: Bailey, Wood, and Bruce.
In a manner of speaking Denny Neagle became Bronson Arroyo today. Neagle begot Henson, Henson begot Wily Mo, Wily Mo begot Arroyo.
Whenever you get mad over a called strike or ball on a close pitch, it's the equivalent of being mad at the QB pump-faking one time before throwing a pass in your average NFL game. ---Caveat Emperor
