Re: A Night in the Stands

8) My daughter told all the other little girls that I could ge them autographs. Thanks sweetheart. I'm sure Mommy will have a fun day tomorow telling people that Daddy can not and will not do that. She also told a few other people that she has a little brother. (Which she does not) AND that we didn't bring him because he is grounded and we left him in the closet. Nice. I was half expecting to the see the Police when I got home.

HAHAHAHAHA Thanks for sharing what you heard from people around you. Good for a great laugh. I think Spitball nailed it on the head when small people feel embolded to act like jerks at the ballpark because they are hidden by the crowd.

There were 3 older men sitting near us with their wives last night. They were screaming all of the typical anti-reds stuff when ever they made the slightest mistakes. Some of their rantings sounded vaguely familur.....but I digress. They rode Clayton hard all night and went into total hystronics when he muffed a play early in the game. From them on it was "great trade Krivsky this" and great trade Krivsky that".

One jerk was in the middle of a choice anti-Clayton rant when he (Clayton) launched a 2 run homer. Oddly enough, he (Jerk in stands) meekly sat down and was much quieter for a few minutes.

I simply don't have access to a "cares about RBI" place in my psyche. There is a "mildly curious about OBI%" alcove just before the acid filled lake guarded by robot snipers with lasers which leads to the "cares about RBI" antechamber though. - Nate
