Beat Houston!
This has been a frustrating month for me:
1. My undergrad school (Mississippi State) just made ESPN's "Bottom 10" in football. With a loss to Tulane last week, it's not looking like it's going to get any better any time soon.
2. The Reds have just taken my playoff hopes and crushed them.
I resigned to rooting that the Reds can hold off the Astros and at least finish ahead of last year's NL World Series participants. Someone please give me some hope that this is possible. Also, it would be nice if you could tell me we have a chance to do some good in the off-season. Will Krivsky show us he is really the man for the job?
Side note:
-The Buckeyes (my grad school) are doing quite well, huh? Does Tressel need a summer job coaching baseball?
-My son's 8th grade football team is 3-0 and looking for another win tonight. He assures me they'll get it.
