Though I never got to watch it, I might grab the DVD.
I believe it had the unfortunate fate of coming on at about the same time in '05 as three other somewhat similar shows in Lost, Threshold and Surface. I believe all three were liked by the critics, but all but Lost suffered in ratings.
Invasion, Threshold and Surface only lasted for just over a dozen episodes each.
