I was thinking along the same lines as Creek... if I'd been logging on here on the days my kids were born, Mrs. U would have heaved the nearest heavy thing in my direction.
On second thought, you should get set up with an online photo album from one of those free places, like Shutterfly or Flickr. That way, while the photos are uploading for friends and family to see, you can sneak a look at a different browser tab to check box scores and forum posts.
