Slap hitters don't get much attention. His Isolated slugging percentage is .075, and to be honest, even for a middle infielder that is real low. Toss in the fact that BP plays his position and the Reds have some thing for 'Hands of old Gold' there is no need for him.
Still better than Castro and Keppinger can play any IF spot so he can give any of the infielders a day off. Personally I would rather want a slap hitting infielder than one who swings for the fences and strikes out a lot.
