That's a good article but one thing stikes me as peculiar.

Really? Ernie has a statue in tribute to him in front of our stadium. He's in the Reds' HoF. There's not a Reds fan worth his/her weight who doesn't know who Ernie was. Seems to me that Ernie holds a pretty high place in Reds history. Curious...maybe he was talking about his place in
baseball history.
