Re: Kidney Stones
I passed a small stone during college. I was literally sitting in class and felt like I had a combination of a horrible cramp and really needing to go to the restroom. I went the restroom and sat there for about an hour in the worst pain of my life.
I did not have a cell phone and couldn't walk (I was hunched over from the pain). I blacked out visually twice. Afterwards I walked down to the Student Health Services and they ran their tests which basically confirmed that it had happened. I was told to lay off the coffee (which I haven't) and keep pumping at least 8 glasses of water a day. Not much else I could do.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
