... if the peripherals do not support the current performance (be it good or bad). In Cormier's case his xERA has ~4.5 at the time of the trade which showed his performance was a fluke and completely unsustainable.
The opposite case was why I suggested early last year that they go after Wuertz after nothing more than a run of bad luck got him banished to the minors.
