Bergolla and Patterson are both worth a shot. I know we have seen our share of Bergolla, but he isn't a bad player. I think taht he may be able to help this team off the bench sometime in the future. Patterson has amazing stats right now. I would hope that he may be able to make the team next year if they could find a way to sign him. It can't be too hard to win a bidding war for a minor league player.

If you can't build a winning team with that core a fire-sale isn't the solution. Selling the franchise, moving them to Nashville and converting GABP into a used car lot is.
