Ad if I was wrong, I thought Jay Bruce was supposed to be a top notch defensive CF. Why o the Reds need to look for some defensive, no bat guy?
Hamilton is serviceable in CF, but he's probably slightly above-average defensively, at best. You put him in RF, and he's a top tier defender.
Jay Bruce, unfortunately isn't a true CF. He can play CF, and would be a better defender than Hamilton, but Jay Bruce is a corner OF.
The Reds have a legitimate defensive CF in Chris Dickerson. Unfortunately, he has no bat. The Reds have an even better defensive CF in Drew Stubbs, but Juan Castro may very well be a better hitter than Drew Stubbs. The Reds had an everyday CF, but my guess is he'll be playing CF everyday for the A's in 2008.
