I'd like some more certain insight as well. He came up as a SS so those guys can usually play fairly well anywhere based on skill. The arm injury is the real question, but Rosales played 3B in the AFL in October and November. I'm guessing (key word is guessing) that they think his arm is healthy enough to handle it or the Reds would have never allowed it. He's also played a few games at 2B and OF (not a lot) in his career so that is why I'm making the multi position leap. This is all based on the assumption that his arm is sound. Of course if he hits at the .850+ OPS level again, he may be a candidate for a permanent position somewhere and the multi-position stuff won't be necessary.
