This team was never as bad as they were playing earlier. Bronson Arroyo is not a 8.00+ ERA type pitcher. Johnny Cueto has pitched better than his numbers suggest. Adam Dunn is not a sub .800 OPS hitter. Now that Dunn and Phillips are hitting like they are capable of hitting, and Arroyo is pitching to his abilities, the team has obviously started to play more to their abilities. I happen to think this is a good team who could only get better when Jay Bruce is called up.
