in regards to a pitcher that they have 30+ million invested in for the next couple of years. Heck, it's not rocket science. Bud Black figured it out. You don't use your long reliever for 2 batters in the 11th inning, and then pull him for a lefty, lefty matchup with your last available reliever, who happens to be a short guy
. Of course, that's good baseball sense.
