The only tougher card from that era is probably the 1967 Tom Seaver card - his rookie, a high number and I am pretty sure it is a short print to boot. In the end, that will probably be one of the last '50s and '60s HOF cards I get a hold of.
Yes those high numbers from 1967 are hard to get. They were short printed. The common players are expensive. So I would imagine someone like Seaver would be really out of reach,at least for me.
