Guillon, who was rated the #13 international prospect this year, is 6'3", left-handed, throws 92 MPH, and is only 16 years old. Also, the Mets apparently offered him $1.2 million. That's about as much as the 20th pick in the amateur draft signs for. It's nothing against Horst, though.
International money can't be compared to that of draft money. Its an entirely different ballgame. Still, Guillon has a high ceiling, but its not in the same realm as that of a Duran or Rodriguez.
