Two albums I have listened to endlessly and am still into after months and months are Jessica Lea Mayfield's With Blasphemy So Heartfelt
and Mount Eerie's Lost Wisdom
. The former is an 18 year old bluegrass/country singer songwriter with strong 'indie' leanings and the latter is just the coolest lo-fi folk musician ever to come out of Anacortes, Washington.
I was also digging on the new Nada Surf (yeah, Nada Surf) and Crystal Castles (hipster electronica). Other then that there has been a lot of good/ok albums that I can't remember off the top of my head.
Oh and as long as we're nominating albums from 2007 (see: In Rainbows) I'd like to mention the National's Boxer album. :-)
