If anybody comes along in Seattle with anything resembling a pulse and under age 25 Branyan shouldn't be taking AB's away from them. If I remember correctly didn't Corey Patterson display some early power last year?
It's a new economy.
Branyan was a victim of the times and league. Moving to the NL hurt him, and FO's thinking he was a 3B hurt him more. He's a K machine, but he had decent OBP numbers.
