Great article BTW, Weaver was a true character.
It just means he prefers guys who get on base and have power and he doesn't reduce his chances by giving away outs with small ball by bunting, getting picked-off or caught stealing and doesn't take the bat out of his hitters hands by things like the hit and run.
Get a bunch of guys who get on base and have power, then let them do what they do and it increases your chances.
