The thing it is hard to feel sorry for NFL owners when they have put themselves in this condition with the salaries they give out. If you look at the salaries for the first round draft picks this year there are players making 40%+ higher than the same spot a year ago. They talk about economic troubles but it sure has not slowed down the contracts they are giving out.

Don't worry NFL players will cave like they did in the 80's, there is areal divide between the stars and the grunts in the game and the stars were the ones who caved last time.
