Let's see. If Walt had done nothing, we'd still have EdE at 3b, Janish/Keppinger at SS, Bako at C, Corey Pat in CF, and Jr and Dunn lumbering around in the OF. We'd have no money available to make any other moves.

Walt has pretty much turned over every position player except 1b and 2b.

The team improved it's W-L record by 5 wins last season. Wayne never improved upon his previous W-L record. Walt improved the team without sacrificing any minor league talent other than Stewart (and that impact is debatable).
