The professionals realized his back was a problem once he either winced or made motion about it....or because they came to talk to him after he started laboring through a tough inning. I don't know who these godlike wonder men are you think we have on our staff who can magically prevent injuries and shape Chapman into superman under "controlled" conditions. If they were that great they would have noticed an issue in his delivery right away and talked to him after it happened on 2 or 3 consecutive pitches, not after the 35 or so he threw in the inning.
