Alejandro Chacin: Maybe a little too obvious. As the closer for the AZL Reds, his numbers are downright cartoonish: 6 G, 7.1 IP, 0.00 ERA, 2 H, 2 BB, 18 K. He just turned 18.

Nick O'Shea: Just taking a flier here. Recent draft choice whose OPS (Billings) is pretty strong at .936. But what intrigues me is that he's played a little at catcher, after being drafted as a 1B.

Brandon Dailey: Has hit the scene in a big way for the AZL Reds, playing 2B. A Canadian who is said to be a high-character guy.

Dayne Read: Speedy outfielder had a fast start at Billings and was shot right up to Bakersfield--probably because there isn't much room at Dayton. But he has played well.

Justice French: At nearly 22, he's a little old for the AZL. But he can't do much more than he's done--one walk and 25 K in 18 innings, with a 2.00 ERA.

Eliezer Beard: Has numbers similar to French's in the same league--3 walks and 25 K in 17 IP--but is two years younger.

Brennan May Out-of-nowhere guy with an OPS over 1.000 in Arizona.
