It appears to me that the Twins jumped on this right away and handled it very well - instead of trotting him out there while this was going on. I agree, I'd like to see him do well.

I went to grade school with his Dad's family. His aunt was in my class, his dad was a year ahead of us and then they had another brother who was a year ahead of them (in my brother's class). Their family lived above a corner store that Alex's grandpa ran in Deer Park, about a block from our school. His dad played on a terrific UDF C Level team with Len Matuszek and a host of terrific ballplayers. He was on the 1972 Moeller team that won the state title.
