Re: Cincinnati sports media
Cincinnati media is in a very precarious position. They could go for the jugular, so to speak, with some questions, however they know they risk ruining their working relationship with the players and or managers. With such a small pool of reporters when compared to a Boston, NYC, Chicago, or Philly for example, its not easy to tackle the tough topics.
Now of course this does nothing to address the media at the Bengals draft pick news conference. That's pretty abysmal when you consider there is really nothing to go after with these kids. It's not hard to ask questions like 'Do you prefer one side of the line versus the other?' or maybe 'Do you feel you are better at run blocking or pass blocking?' It is not hard to ask a kid for his weaknesses and strengths.
Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
Cincinnati Bengals - None
Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98
