Ondrusek gave up a run the other night not pitching in the 9th inning. He didn't have his curveball last night. I think the Reds are highlighting why, if you are going to rely on one guy, he better be very, very consistent. If you don't have that one guy, then bring in the best available arm based on the situation and have another guy ready. Sometimes lessons are learned out of necessity, and hopefully Dusty learns that this year.
BTW, Ondrusek did not have good stuff last night, but Juan Francisco is the gift that just keeps on giving and got himself out. Great job covering 1st by the big guy to not give an extra out. That is one of the tougher DPs to pull off.
