He may need something a little off-speed to complement his fastball/slider, but he definitely showed nice velocity, movement and command with his prime artillery. Put him with those 4 guys in Pensacola and I think you may have a legit "next wave" of starters out of which more than 1 guy may ultimately fit in a big-league rotation. I'd be interested to see what he can do as the fifth member of that Pensacola rotation before I'm ready to proclaim him as a legit SP prospect. If he can hold his own as a member of that rotation, I'll be impressed. At this point, however, I still have Jacob Johnson rated slightly higher (better frame, year younger, more upside).
I wonder when the last time was a team had their five best starting pitching prospects all in the same minor league rotation?
