How, if you're shaded towards first, are you supposed to back up second base on a steal attempt? Pop-to-pop is probably about 2 seconds for Hanigan throwing toward second base. You add in the reaction time to realize that contact hasn't been made, and you cannot expect a guy to get into backup position.
