Screwy thing with the magic number is that the Reds could clinch after their game if they win and Cards lose because of central time zone difference. So the walkoff celebration like 2010 may not work out this year. |
And the Cardinals play before the Reds on Saturday too, so the Reds might be in a situation where they don't get to clinch with a win.
