Floyd Giebell -Famous for one of baseball's great David-and-Goliath stories. In 1940, in only his third major league start, he pitched for Detroit against Bob Feller in front of a hostile Cleveland crowd in a game to decide the pennant. He beat Feller 2-0 and the Tigers won the pennant.
I looked at the full list for today, chico. A lame group indeed!
Let's add Joe Mays
(37) - Pitched in 7 games for the 2006 Reds. Is a distant cousin of submarine Pitcher Carl Mays who threw the pitch that resulted in the death of Ray Chapman in 1920.
