Every off-season, a team spends a ton in money and talent to build a formidable lineup, but neglects their pitching and defense. They never do as well as projected. You would think the Braves would be the last team to be dumb enough to make such a mistake. Guess not.
The Braves had a dearth of pitching and traded what, injured Tommy Hanson, lazy Randall Delgado, and a pitching prospect? Meanwhile, acquiring the Upton brothers certainly does not weaken defense...
