I just don't follow spring training and avoid #1-#3 all together. A perfect example of why spring training doesn't matter.....Aaron Harang was always terrible in spring training but turned it on when the bell rang. However, I do understand the trouble getting past #2. Baseball is a stat driven game so it's easy to fall into the "spring training superstar trap".
