Sure. You're right. I'm just saying that the odds are much greater of succeeding with a ground ball to the right side when someone's on first simply because the hole is larger. No more, no less. I just think that when you're at the plate and you see a huge gaping hole in the infield defense...trying to take advantage of that seems like a good idea.
