No, you can't make that argument. Griffey tore his hamstring from the bone. That isn't a lack of work issue. Griffey dislocated his shoulder diving for a baseball. That isn't a lack of work issue. Griffey tore tendons in his knee and ankle. That isn't a lack of work issue.
