The guy I like for the Bengals is the Goodwin kid out of UCLA with their own second-rounder.
After 1st rd, always will be imperfect somehow.
But look at Gio's stats -- 2nd in plays from scrimmage in 2011 and 1st in the same for all of the ACC in 2012. He missed 2 games in 2012 -- but still had more plays from scrimmage than anybody else in his conference.
Reality is you never know with any pick, there is no sure thing. Even if there were, injury can easily render that moot. Bernard blew out his knee in HS, that is why he went to UNC with Butch Davis as coach. But he was a top south FL rb, and he plays tough regardless of draft whispers.
NFL has devalued the rb position, at least in terms of draft status, so it won't surprise me to see Gio go from early 2nd to late 3rd...
