It's too soon to tell if it will work, I hope it does, but let's not make it sound like the "low scoring game" is by design; it isn't.
Actually I don't mean the Reds as a point, I mean game wide there will be less runs, less HRs more teams (like the Dbacks) trumpeting contact baseball.. Count on it runs will dip and every old school trick will be mentioned
The Reds park is not built for that nor are the Reds, but count on seeing it more and more than the past 20 years and occasionally by the Reds
The game is swinging a tad, guys aren't hitting as big and the three true outcomes are more two out of three outcomes, the % of balls in play us at a all time low, it's natural that someone will try something to counter that
