I know he's had a lot of success in the minors, and had very good numbers with the Reds last year (and in ST).
But just watching him I can't exactly see how he does it. We've all heard that he hides the ball well and so he looks faster than 91/92. OK. But then I wonder if he really has a secondary out pitch.
And I think that talk about him being a future closer was always a reach.
I think he'll be fine. A couple of bad games early will keep his stats from looking good until later in the year, but I'm not writing it off just yet. He was obviously great in the Spring, but even in his time with the big boys last year he impressed a lot of people.
It seems like he has a good breaking ball.
