Is there a river that needs to be cried somewhere?
I love how you cherry pick stats there. One SB attempted... really? The Cards were pretty much last in SB in 2011 and had far and away the best offense in the NL that year. SB is a negative play in modern baseball anyway. The Cards have a lot of guys who career numbers are great in RISP situations so I don't know why you seem shocked at this. I will give you that they will not continue to hit .400 with RISP the rest of the year but at the same time they have guys who have done it their entire career.
Go ahead and keep on denying that the Cards at least have some skill. I mean there was that Wainwright character who threw a complete game shutout with 12 K's and Shelby Miller is living up to his billing as one of the best pitching prospects in baseball. You're probably going to have some convoluted argument as to Miller's success thus far just like you do with your "PCL is a hitters league" argument with the prospects they have.
You can discount the offense if you want but the starting pitching is what has gotten it done for them.
