I didn't mean it that way. I'm saying he's hitting to all fields now....you aren't going to see that shift if he's doing that. I don't think that change in approach had anything to do with the shift. It had to do with the fact that he's much more effective as a hitter when he sprays the ball to all fields.
And he's going the other way because that's what the pitcher gives him. You don't try to pull a ball like that because you'll just roll over it and ground out...or whiff. Taking what the pitcher gives you isn't going to diminish his power, it's going to pump up his average and his ability to get on base. He'll still turn on a ball as you saw in his ab prior to the 10 pitch walk against Lee.
Pitching and defense...anything else is gravy. Mmmm...gravy.
