Those numbers are great but to truly judge a starter I think you need look at who else is having to pitch in his games. If those games continue you are going to have the likes of Simon and Hoover pitching in a lot of his games and I'm guessing the team era is not going to be as pretty as Cingranis.
For a #5 starter, I'll take a 5-inning 8 K, 1 ER performance every time.
For a #2 starter, it may be a different story. But for now we are just talking about this year.
