Re: Billy Hamilton
Getting off the Choo tangent. I saw the Bats and Indians on Monday night and came away with this impression.
He looked awful in his first two at bats where he struck out, but after the pitcher broke up a perfect game, he followed with a triple deep in the right field corner.
I'm fairly certain given where he hit it, and how shallow the RF was playing that most fast runners would have had a triple. I don't know how many would have a triple standing on third when the throw got to the 2nd baseman.
He struck out in his last at bat.
In the outfield, he looked a bit like Choo, a little uneasy, but caught everything hit to him. He also made a nice running catch in the alley in the bottom of the 8th that kept a 4-2 lead from disappearing (for the moment.)
When people say that I donít know what Iím talking about when it comes to sports or writing, I think: Man, you should see me in the rest of my life.
