Outside of tonight and other times, the starting pitching has been stellar, but the team will score 11 one game and two the next, which is normal. Bronson laid an egg tonight which he does sometimes. That's why I'm not in favor of offering him any kind of retirement contract. Now we have to rely on Homer to stop this madness tomorrow, and he is off an on. Walt has a lot of decisions to make and my guess is that he is planning his strategy right now. I see a different team soon.
Reds are still six games ahaed of the next team in the WC race. Unless the Reds fall off the cliff they will be in good shape to at least make the WC game. Not optimal but I'll still take it.
