Haven't been following this case, but rather than trying to buy the house back, I wonder if maybe he would be better served filing a lawsuit for breach of fiduciary duty. I'm not a civil attorney, but if it's true that his daughter improperly used her power of attorney to transfer the deed to her name, he might have a case to force her to transfer the deed back to him.
